Tap water vs. distilled water

                   Tap water VS. Distilled water???

I use tap water when filling my diffuser and using right away... But I also make diffuser blends ahead of time. I use empty ninxgia bottles and write the recipe right on the bottle.. Then I use distilled water as it will be sitting and we do not water bacteria to grow.. If you just want water to sit by your diffuser in a pretty ninxgia bottle instead of running for water all the time that works as well and I would say distilled as well due to bacteria growth.. MAke it pretty and enjoy diffusing as it has therapeutic benefits as well..

We recommend that you follow the directions for your brand and type of essential oil diffuser. Some diffusers require or work best with different types of water. The instructions included in many of today's essential oil diffusers recommend that you use tap water in your diffuser because it includes natural minerals that help the water diffuse into a vapor better than distilled water.

Each Diffuser is Different

But they all have one thing in common! They need water – and oils : )
Each diffuser takes a different kind of water, so start there and always be conscious of the fill line, intake points, fan and keeping it clean

  1. Is the desert mist diffuser available in the UK/European Union? I looked at a UK site but couldn't see it there.
