Consider this: Cigarettes are sold on a store shelf.
Do we know they're HARMFUL?
Yes.
Do we know they cause cancer?
Yes.
Do we know they cause underdevelopment in babies?
Yes.
COPD? Emphysema? Poor circulation? And a slew of other issues?
Yes. Yes. Yes. And yes.
ARE THEY STILL SOLD AT STORES?
YES.
๐Ÿ‘‰Just because it is on a store shelf doesn't mean it's good for you๐Ÿ‘ˆ

Air fresheners, plug-ins, scented candles, and room sprays are just as harmful! Burning a scented candle for one hour does the same damage to your lungs as smoking a cigarette. ๐Ÿšฌ๐Ÿ•ฏ☠ Just because they're sold at your favorite store doesn't make them safe.

The air INSIDE our home is way more toxic than all the pollution OUTSIDE. We are doing this to ourselves, people. If you work from home or are a stay at home parent, you are 50% more likely to get cancer in your lifetime. Environmental cancer (meaning it's not in your genes) accounts for 95% of all cancer cases.

Is it really worth making your house smell a certain way? Because there are healthier ways to do that:

๐ŸŒฑ Diffuse pure plant oils (not the junk sold next to the air fresheners)
๐ŸŒฌ Open your windows! Let the polluted air out and the fresh air in!
๐ŸŒฟ Get some house plants! They gobble up the carbon dioxide in the air and put out fresh oxygen for us to breathe. They are the original air-purifiers!

๐ŸŒตKnow better. Do better. Live better.๐ŸŒต
